Get Out the Vote 2012
State Fair Meadowlands is hosting a "Get Out the Vote 2012" event on Monday, June 25 from 6pm to 11pm.
The purpose of this event is to educate our fairgoers about the importance of voting and expressing their political opinions. As we approach the upcoming election, we want to celebrate democracy, America and the right to vote. We feel gathering together is a great way to begin conversation about key issues facing America.
This event is free to fair-goers and will be held at the American Stage on the Main Midway near Main Street. The lineup includes top speakers, musicians and authors. Top speakers include Barbara from Harlem, host of WMCA 570AM radio talk show; Deneen & Tom Borelli, Fellows & Fox contributors; Michael Prell, author of "Underdogma" and Rosa Perez Leonetti, NJ coordinator of Smart Girl Politics. Music will be provided by the renowned musical artists Toots Sweet, Tony Lewis and Lez Warner.
