SATURDAY, JUNE 19 - A JERSEY TOMATO FIGHT Ala Spain’s “La Tomatina” To Raise Money For Charity - Proceeds From ‘Squishy’ Summer Extravaganza Will Go To Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
State Fair Meadowlands will hold New Jersey’s 1st Annual State Fair Jersey Tomato Fight on Saturday, June 19, at 6 pm. The hour-long, squishy summer extravaganza is open to fairgoers ages 12 and up. Participation is free, but tomato hurlers and spectators will be encouraged to make a $5 donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Tomato hurlers should come dressed for a mess – maybe even in bathing suits! Goggles will be available for purchase.
